Who We Are
Lanna Consulting was established by Jeff Petry in 1997 when Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was an entirely new field.
We have stayed abreast of all the latest developments & strategies along the way, adding new members to our team whenever we found like-minded souls who wanted to work together making innovative websites and marketing them.
Our services have evolved to include not only SEO, sometimes called Website Promotion, but also Search Engine Marketing (SEM) — specializing in Google AdWords in conjunction with Google Analytics; and now: Social Media Marketing (SMM).

With the addition of new associates in 2009, we have been designing more and more websites ourselves, since it is best to build a website from the ground up whenever possible, incorporating all the components of SEO in the process.
We’ve also embraced the Social Media aspect of websites, and have chosen WordPress as our primary platform for this, given its powerful features overlaid over elegant designs.
Our new Icelandic designer is a WordPress expert, among other things. Our Dutch web developer is an expert with the more technical, code-related issues. And Jeff, the founder, handles the optimization himself in most cases. (See our CV’s to the right.)
We can work in English, German, Dutch, Icelandic, Thai, PHP, and half a dozen other computer languages.
International Clientele
Over the years, Lanna Consulting has steadily grown and developed an international clientele ranging from a Virginia-based fiberoptics company, to a Greenwich, England-based supplier of maritime antiques to several of Southeast Asia’s most successful tour companies.
